The 5k route takes you through the heart of Seward Park, winding along its scenic trails and under the canopy of vibrant cherry blossoms. This course is a perfect mix of natural beauty and historical charm, celebrating Seattle’s first cherry trees planted here in 1929.

The 10k loops through Seward Park’s forested trails and along Lake Washington, offering a mix of flat and rolling terrain. Two refuel stations are placed along the route to keep you going strong.

The half marathon begins in Seward Park, winding through its scenic trails before opening up to stunning views along Lake Washington Boulevard. The route features gentle rolling terrain, with elevation ranging from 50 to 70 feet, offering a mix of challenge and charm. With the sparkling water on one side and cherry blossoms in bloom, it’s a course you won’t forget. Plus, 6-8 refuel stations ensure you’re supported every step of the way.

Run the Cherry Blossom Virtual Run on your own schedule! Pick your distance—5K, 10K, or half marathon—and complete it anywhere between March 22 and April 6, 2025. Whether you're running through your neighborhood, a local park, or on a treadmill, you’ll still be part of the event. Submit your results online and share your run with #CherryBlossomRun.
